Job Summary:

The Instructional Design Manager (LMS Manager) is responsible for developing and implementing e-learning strategies, designing high-quality training content, and managing the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure an effective learning experience. This role involves leading the instructional design team, optimizing training processes, and ensuring the continuous improvement of e-learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:


  1. LMS Management:
    • Oversee the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the LMS.
    • Enhance the user experience within the LMS, ensuring easy access to learning materials.
    • Monitor and analyze LMS data to evaluate training effectiveness and generate periodic reports.

  2. Instructional Design & Content Development:
    • Supervise the design and production of high-quality digital learning content.
    • Ensure all training materials align with e-learning best practices and instructional design standards.
    • Utilize authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and other e-learning technologies.

  3. Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor the instructional design team to achieve strategic goals.
    • Provide continuous training and support to the team on the latest e-learning technologies and methodologies.
    • Monitor team performance and provide feedback for improvement.

  4. E-Learning Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement plans to enhance training programs and the overall digital learning experience.
    • Analyze training needs within the organization and design effective learning solutions.
    • Collaborate with different departments to understand their training requirements and deliver customized learning solutions.

  5. Quality Assurance & Innovation:
    • Apply the latest technologies and trends in instructional design and digital learning.
    • Ensure the consistency and quality of all training materials with regular updates.
    • Evaluate training effectiveness through surveys and performance analysis.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in E-Learning, Educational Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 5 to 8 years of experience in e-learning and instructional design.
    • 3 to 5 years in a managerial role within the same field.
    • Prior experience in training companies is a plus.
  • Preferred Certifications (not mandatory):
    • Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2) or any relevant project management certification.
    • Certifications in LMS and e-learning content development (e.g., TOT, ATD, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
  • Required Skills:
    • Advanced knowledge of LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, TalentLMS).
    • Strong leadership and management skills to oversee teams and projects.
    • Ability to analyze training needs and develop appropriate learning solutions.
    • Creativity in curriculum design and the development of high-quality interactive content.
    • Excellent time management and project execution skills.
    • Proficiency in e-learning tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, SCORM, HTML5.
