BIM Structure Professional Track
This course offers you a comprehensive experience in the BIM (Structure) environment, taking you from theoretical knowledge to practical application. You will learn structural modeling using Revit, build organized structural models, manage data, and generate construction drawings and schedules—preparing you to work on real structural projects in line with industry standards.
محتويات الباقة
BIM fundamentals
A foundational program that provides a comprehensive introduction to the concepts and techniques of Building Information Modeling (BIM). The program includes an overview of the interface and core fundamentals of Revit as a primary digital modeling tool, preparing trainees to confidently progress to advanced modeling and coordination stages within a professional BIM environment.
Revit Structure
This comprehensive training program provides a full understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM) concepts and techniques, with a practical introduction to using Revit Structure as the primary tool for structural modeling within a BIM environment. Trainees will learn how to transform traditional structural designs into intelligent, interconnected models that can be coordinated with other project disciplines.
The course combines academic foundations with practical application through real exercises and simulations of actual projects, preparing trainees to work on structural projects professionally and competitively in both the Saudi and international markets.
Navisworks
An advanced training program focusing on Autodesk Navisworks as a key tool for coordinating and managing BIM models. The course covers importing and linking models from Revit and AutoCAD, 3D model review, executing 4D simulations, 5D quantity take-offs, and performing Clash Detection to ensure proper system coordination within the project. The course also includes report preparation and sharing coordination results with project teams.
Revit work sharing
This course provides practical training to understand the concept of Worksharing in Autodesk Revit, focusing on setting up projects for collaborative work, creating and managing central files, organizing user permissions, and synchronizing changes among team members. It ensures efficient coordination and smooth workflow within a BIM environment.
Revit family creation-structure
An advanced training program focusing on the use of Navisworks for coordinating engineering models and detecting clashes, with practical application on Worksharing in Revit Structure to manage teamwork within a BIM environment. Trainees will learn how to work with Central & Local Models, task distribution, and efficiently manage element ownership within construction projects.
The course also covers creating Revit Structural Families from scratch professionally. It combines theoretical foundations with hands-on practice through real models and projects, preparing trainees to work efficiently within BIM teams.
What you will learn
- Understand the BIM methodology for structural projects—not just as software, but as a workflow.
- Create a complete structural model in Revit Structure (concrete and steel).
- Accurately set grids, levels, and structural constraints.
- Prepare ready-to-use construction drawings for site implementation.
- Extract quantity and reinforcement schedules directly from the model.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to minimize clashes.
- Organize the project file according to standard practices in engineering offices.
